Your choice of colors reminds me of the sea, it’s beautiful.Are you going to keep the blanket for yourself? My blankets are rather small and intended for children so at the end the effort (1 big vs. 2 smaller ones) is about the same. Thank you for sharing your insights and all those pictures on your blog! I very much enjoyed looking at them.

I have considered it, but don’t want it to get overwhelming. However, I do plan to do a second one when this one is finished. I am using a bulky wool yarn, and it is getting wide very fast. I did it because I had a lot of the yarn in my stash already (which has NOT meant that I did not also buy a lot) but if I were doing it again, I would go down to a worsted weight yarn. I also struggled with hiding the carried yarn in the bobbles – and finally used two colors that weren’t hugely contrasting – gray and white – for those rows. Other than that, I have not had to struggle with any of it, except that I wish she posted twice a week. It feels like a long time between Saturdays. 🙂
