M’s cousin and his wife had a baby girl – Beatriz. We’ll give her a horse for her baptism. Looking at the picture I wonder whether I should tie some bright red ribbon around its neck. It’s a bit pale … But pure cotton, inside and out. Easy to wash and nothing to be afraid of. I hope she’ll like it.
It is still foggy and grey outside. I don’t remember seeing the sun for at least a week and J insisted that the little people get dressed. It’s too cold to run around naked. Well, here they are: Albertha (to the right), the first doll with a name and her friend. J named her after his two favorite teams, Alba Berlin (basketball) and Hertha BSC (soccer). „Two souls, alas, are housed within his breast and each will wrestle for the mastery there.“ Thank you J. W. von Goethe – I could not have said it any better.
Christmas decorations everywhere I go and the urge to do something against it made me crochet a bunny. Well, almost a bunny …
Sooner or later I would change the arms so now each doll is done in one piece: legs first, then the body, the arms, (they go into the body) finally the neck and head. That makes them „baby proof.“ I really need to post pictures of the monsters that would follow the little people.
