The hexagons I sent to Great Britain arrived! Very soon they will become part of Patch’s „Collaborative Crochet Blanket.“
Spending Money
Did you ever wonder what a German yarn addict (like me) might buy in the land of unlimited opportunities?
Well, so far I got: little rings to use as stitch markers, DPNs in different colors, and a size 50 hook to crochet chair pads (for the kitchen chairs at home).
However, still looking out for Self Striping Sock Yarn. Any suggestions anyone?
Flying Overseas
At the end, I did not bring the knitting needles on board. I was too worried someone might take them away from me – with or without the yarn. Instead, I grabbed a few balls of cotton, a crochet hook, and Jan Eaton’s book of 200 crochet blocks.
Four blocks are done so far and I need to come up with an idea what to do with them …
Blue as the Sky Wrap
Color of Water Wrap
Again, blocking did its magic. The wrap is done and it turned out to be just the way I wanted it to be. Makes me happy – can you tell?
Even more important, I am ready to move on to the next level, that is to say: move on to a more complicated pattern (once I have finished all else …). Looks like the „lace bug“ finally bit me!
